                                        Luke 1:1-20

John 1:1-3      He who made the worlds stood as a Lamb

slain from the foundation of the earth”

The scheme of redemption, the plan of salvation is from

time immemorial!

Gal. 4:4-5                   How did He do that?             Phil. 2:5-8

II Cor. 5:19-21           Why did He do that?

Heb. 2:14-15, 9-10

vs. 10-14

“fear not”                   “good tidings”            “great joy”

“to all people”            “unto you is born”    “a Savior” - Matt. 1:21

“Glory to God”         “peace”                      “good will towardmen”

“be sure your sin will find you out”

“in the day thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die”

“sin is a reproach to any people”

“there is no peace, saith my God, to the wicked” - Is. 57:20-21

Luke 1:17                   Malachi 4:6

“Prepare to meet thy God, O Israel”

Are you prepared?    Are any preparations being made?

Do you have peace?  Any good news to make you optimistic?

Do you have joy in your life?    Are you happy?

How do you feel towards your fellow man?  Any good will?

Luke 2 is the account of the start of God’s redemption to

mankind!   A spiritual makeover!  A factory reset!

The body is the link between the soul and the world,

the soul is the link between the body and the spirit,

the spirit is the link between the soul and God.

The body is to be at the service of the soul, the soul

to be regulated by the spirit, and God is to govern all!

I Cor. 6:15-20

Rev. 5:11-14, 7:9-12 the eternal fruition of the plan

of redemption.

The strangle hold that sin has on people today.

Story of Dwight L. Moody - preaching in a prison

- governor - announced at end of service a pardon - the joy-

“Thy people shall be willing in the day of thy power”

“O God, thou art my God, early will I seek thee:  my soul

thirsteth for thee, my flesh longeth for thee in a dry and

thirsty land where no water is” - Ps. 63:1

“Thy people shall be willing in the day of they power”

Ps. 110:3

Last week we studied 1st - 4th Commandments in

relationship to God.

Today, I would like to take the last six and see if

there is a connection between our lack of peace

and joy and our attitude towards God’s will in

our lives?

Refer to last week’s lesson driving home

after each one the thoughts in Luke 16:10-14
