III. GOD IN THE GOVERNMENT OF THE WORLD WORKS
THROUGHOUT
FOR THE HIGHEST GOOD OF NATIONS. His
object
is
to bring all men everywhere to serve Him. He
would have them, through
the power of Christ, be enlightened, sanctified, and
blessed. It is true of
nations as of individuals, “The nation that will not serve Him shall
perish,
yea, those
nations shall be utterly wasted.”(Isaiah
60:12). It
is as nations forget
God
that they decline and fall. “The
wicked shall be turned into hell, and all
nations that forget God.” (Psalm 9:17) It is as nations become
penetrated and ruled
by Divine truth that they become truly free and strong
and prosperous.
19 The Lord hath prepared His throne
in the heavens; and his kingdom ruleth over all.
John 14:1-2 “Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me.
In my Father’s house are many mansions:
If it were not so I would have
told you. And if I go
to prepare a place for you, I will come again, and
receive you
unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.”
Now if you are unsaved, and have never been born again, let
us face reality by
picking up where I left off last week (explain the sequence)
I
want to get into things which will not only keep dissatisfied for the rest of your
earthly life!
(if unrepented
of) but will also
permanently, eternally keep you in that dissatisfied state
FOREVER with your non-inclusion in Heaven which God hath prepared for
mankind
LIKE YOU!
As I sit hear and ponder this, YOU ARE
HALF-WAY THERE:
THE QUESTION IS ARE YOU GOING TO MAKE IT ALL
THE WAY HOME?
God prepared the earth and here you are!
God has prepared Heaven and for what purpose
for you?
I want to emphasize two scriptures that come
to mind:
YE MUST BE BORN AGAIN
- John 3:7
THERE SHALL BE WEEPING AND GNASHING OF TEETH, WHEN YE SHALL SEE
ABRAHAM, ISAAC, AND JACOB, AND ALL THE PROPHETS IN THE KINGDOM OF
GOD, AND YOU YOURSELVES THRUST OUT. AND THEY SHALL COME FROM THE
EAST, AND FROM THE WEST, AND FROM THE NORTH, AND FROM THE SOUTH,
AND SHALL SIT DOWN IN THE
The phrase "ye yourselves thrust out" is from the Bible,
specifically Jesus' words in
Luke 13:28,
and describes a state of exclusion and despair.
It refers to being cast out of the
a fate accompanied by "weeping and gnashing of teeth" after witnessing
others, like Abraham,
Isaac, Jacob, and the
prophets, sitting in the kingdom. The
phrase is a warning that despite
having a place
among the faithful, one's actions can lead to exclusion. (AI)
There are reasons to be left out, or can you
imagine, being “thrust out” as
I just read.
I go back to last week’s lesson to remind
and warn you.
In Galatians 5:20 - φαρμακεία = pharmakeia - sorcery - progression:
medicine, drugs,
poisoning, sorcery, witchcraft -
associated with the occult - professedly designed to
keep the user from the attention
and power of demons, but actually to impress the
user with the mysterious resources
and powers of the sorcerer. (Vine’s

Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers,

The phrase "abusers of
themselves with mankind" is a historical and religious term,
most famously from the King James
Version of the Bible in Leviticus 18:22, which
refers to homosexual acts,
specifically those involving a man with another man.
In this context, "abusers
of themselves" refers to a form of "self-abuse" that, in
the biblical and historical view,
harms
the individual and the community.
This next clause is the first
crack that I have noticed in AI’s concession to anti-christian
dogma:
This phrasing is now considered archaic and offensive by many, and
interpretations vary, with some modern scholars questioning the translation
and intent. (AI)
AI The provided
text is from 1 Corinthians 6:9-11 in
the Bible, which lists behaviors
that the author, the Apostle Paul, states will prevent
people from inheriting the
acts, including "fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate,
nor abusers
of themselves with mankind". (This is the second crack that I have
noticed in AI’s
concession to anti-christian
dogma [heresy]) These
verses have been the subject of
much debate regarding the exact
meaning of certain Greek words used in the original
text, such as those translated as
"effeminate" and "abusers of themselves with
mankind".

Reiterate:
“Now unto
Him that is able to present you faultless before the presence of His glory
with esceeding joy, To the only wise God our Saviour,
be glory and majesty, dominion
and power, both
now and for ever.” (Jude 1:24-25)
He bringeth out those which are bound (see Psalm 146:7,

tyranny of worldly oppressors, of ghostly
enemies, and of their own
lusts and sins. With
chains; rather, into
prosperity (Hengstenberg,
Kay, Cheyne, Revised Version). But the
rebellious dwell in a dry
land. Rebels against God are not “brought out.”
They are left
to dwell in the “dry land” of their own impenitence and
self-will (compare Numbers 14:29-35).
because of their relationship with Jehovah!

your children shall wander in the wilderness forty years, and

34 “After

forty days, each day for a year, shall ye bear

I will surely do it unto all this evil

wilderness they shall be consumed, and there they
shall die.”
