No evangelist describes
the resurrection -
no one present - like The
Creation - Job 38:4-7
Isaiah
45:18-19
The Lord appeared only to His own - to
individuals, to two, to
eleven, to above 500 at once!
Luke 24
v. 3 - Open & Empty
Tomb - For us all someday -
Job 19:25-27
v. 4 - Much perplexed -
Last week's lesson - One
example - "Who is going to roll away the
stone?"
GOD HAS ALREADY TOOK CARE OF IT!
We get in trouble
speculating! We imagine difficulties
which God has already
solved! "Sufficient unto the day
is the evil thereof"
The Women - They who truly
love the Lord Christ will
find ample opportunities
to prove their affection.
Two representatives of
legions - Matt. 26:53 - 12
legions of angels at
Christ's disposal! II Kings 6:15-17
"Cold discrepancy mongers, do you not see
that the evangelists do
not count the angels? There were
not only two angels, there
were millions. They appeared
not always one & the
same, not always the same two,
sometimes this one
appeared, sometimes that; sometimes
on this place, sometimes
that; sometimes alone, sometimes
in company; sometimes they
said this, sometimes that!
v. 5 - Too good to be
true? Paul to Agrippa - "Why
should it be thought a
thing incredible with you that
God should raise the
dead?" Acts 26:8
That faith & hope
might be in God - Christ died
for the sins of the world
& lives for the world's
eternal life.
vs. 6-7 - Don't forget the
appointed place.
v. 11 - idle tales to the
disciples but not to the
secularists.
v.25 - Matthew 15:14-15 -
Luke 16:29
v. 26 - Crucifixion +
death = Glory
Suffering - a necessity and will of God for
Christ - a key to some of the darkest problems
in life.

- COME UP WITH LIST

stood a Lamb as it had been slain"
